Zen to Fitness started when I realized how hard it is to balance a good life with health and fitness or so it seemed. I became fascinated with discovering a system of living life to the fullest without compromising on our health.
Lets face it in this day and age many people just don’t care about nutrition and fitnessin spite of it being a cornerstone of life, instead of being normal for not regularly eating junk food the people like us who skip the dessert are seen as weird.
I was once tied up in conventional Health and Fitness low fat diets and lots of cardio in the gym along with eating 6 times a day. This pushed me down a path of obsession and ultimately compromised my social life and love for living.
This drove me to want to figure out a system or at least a way of living that allowed me to stay in shape and good health in the real world. You will see it is possible to be fit, well-nourished and healthy in this chaotic world, I am by no means a fitness evangelist. I will go out and have too many drinks, or eat “bad” foods but I just get up the next day and get back on track.
My name Chris I just finished studying at University and working in IT while not blogging. I decided to start this blog to pass on some things I have learnt through life especially about fitness and lifestyle. In the future I am looking towards training to be a trainer and holistic lifestyle coach which hopefully will commence in 2010.
The true way to render ourselves happy is to love our work and find in it our pleasure.
I enjoy reading blogs about self improvement, productivity, health, fitness and business. As well as this my passions lie in family, sports, music and tech. I will strive to provide posts of value to a wide variety of readers, giving back what I have received from so many other great bloggers!
Please be advised that my post are of my own personal experience and before you follow any nutrition or exercise plan you should consult your doctor.
